I feel such joy and gratitude bubbling up inside my heart as I write this post. Many of you are aware that I have been working on my first book for some time now. In fact, some portions of the book were written as part of a writer’s group I participated in the late 1990s while still practicing as a pediatrician in Brooklyn, NY! Can you imagine that? It’s certainly been quite a journey.
And now, it’s FINALLY here! Hooray! Can you feel me doing a happy dance here? 🙂
Many of you might have already read about the book being released on Amazon if you follow me on Facebook. Thank you for your all your love and support. And for those who have already purchased the book, thank you so much!
My dear friend, Mary Straub, downloaded the Kindle book this past Friday and here is what she had to say about the book:
“I also downloaded your book and I just love it! I don’t even want to put it down. It uplifts me and touches me and soothes me and helps me more than I can express. I take breaks from it just so I can spend some time fully digesting it. I have read up to Chapter 16! You are a wonderful writer! I want everyone I know to read your book. It’s so heartfelt and so well-written. Thank you for writing it! “
Wow, her response just fills my heart with such a warm feeling. It is a beautiful confirmation of a deep knowing that I had a book within me that could be helpful, healing, and inspiring. I am so grateful that I stayed the course and allowed this book to come through. I am grateful to Mary and each of you for supporting me along my journey by reading these blogs and writing to let me know how they have been helpful to you. This gave me the confidence and persistence to focus, write on a regular basis, and stay committed even when the ego mind would through all sorts of doubts, fears, and concerns my way. And there were so many helpers who showed up along the way to support me! I will share more about these helpers in future posts.
For now, if you feel inspired, you can read a preview of the book here in Kindle version, with the option to buy.
If you enjoy reading the old-fashioned way, you can purchase a paperback version of the book here.
