Do you remember being a child in school and bringing something to share with your class? Something that was really special and meaningful to you for this “show and tell” period.
Well, for this blog post, I felt inspired to share a few pictures from my recent trip to Utah for a Living Miracles Monastery retreat in A Course in Miracles.
I was captivated by the natural beauty of Utah and especially the mountains. They became a symbol of the peace and stillness within us- that is not bound by time or space, that is eternal and unwavering.
Yet the retreat was not just about being surrounded by natural beauty. I especially wanted to go because I would finally meet these beautiful women who had become my mighty companions, but I had never met them in person until the retreat!
I am also grateful for new mighty companions I met from all over the world!
And here is a picture of me with David Hoffmeister, one of the senior teachers of A Course in Miracles.
It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words. But sometimes pictures can just convey a feeling that needs no words at all.
The retreat helped me to feel greater love, deeper joy and more peace. I can still feel this love, peace and joy within my heart each time I see these photos.
What brings joy, peace and love for you? I would love to hear!
